What this site is, whose numbers the prices are, whose arithmetic the per-piece figures are, and who handles an order once you have placed one.

What this site is, and what it is not

netany.org is an informational catalogue of the NETANY glassware, jar, storage and household range. Nothing is sold through this site. There is no basket, no checkout and no payment processing anywhere on it; every purchase is a contract between you and the retailer or the seller of record named on that listing.

We are neither the manufacturer nor the retailer. This site is not operated by the owner of the NETANY trademark. We catalogue the products and link to them. We do not design them, make them, stock them, sell them or ship them.

Using the site means accepting the terms on this page. If you do not accept them, please do not use it.

Product data, prices and our arithmetic

Titles, specifications, photographs, prices, option lists, star ratings and rating counts come from the retailer’s product advertising interface and its public product pages, as at the date of our last check. They can and do go stale between checks.

The per-piece figures are our arithmetic, not anybody’s offer: the price of a set divided by the number of pieces stated for that set, rounded to the cent, with nothing added and no shipping assumed. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell. Prices and availability change without notice, and the figures on the retailer’s page at the moment you order are the ones that apply. We warrant neither the completeness nor the currency of what is here, and we are not liable for decisions taken on the strength of it. If you spot a divergence, tell us — that is the mechanism by which this gets better.

Orders, delivery, returns and warranty

All of it sits with the retailer and the seller of record, under the retailer’s own policies. We have no access to your order, cannot cancel or amend it, cannot refund it and cannot open a warranty claim on your behalf. Breakage in transit, a missing lid, a short count in the box, a set that never arrived — every one of those is a conversation with the retailer, and starting it there saves you a day.

Use the products the way the maker intends

Descriptions, comparisons and answers here are our own opinion, offered in good faith as general guidance. They are not professional, safety or medical advice. Follow the instructions and the care label supplied with the product; where a manufacturer instruction and something you read here disagree, the manufacturer wins. Three cases in this range are worth saying out loud:

Glass is glass

Borosilicate takes a temperature change better than soda lime does. Neither is unbreakable, and no glass here should be assumed oven-safe, freezer-safe or microwave-safe unless that product says so itself.

Wood and bamboo are hand-wash

Lids, straw brushes and wooden trays warp and split in a dishwasher whatever the glass standing next to them can survive. The glass being dishwasher-safe is not the lid being dishwasher-safe.

Feeding and single-use items

Infant feeding happens under adult supervision, and a spoon is not a teether. Disposable liners belong in the appliance they are sized for, weighted down by food, and are never preheated empty.

Trademarks and our own content

NETANY and its logo are trademarks of their respective owner. They appear here to identify the products catalogued, and that use implies no endorsement of this site by the trademark owner. Other marks mentioned belong to their own owners.

The editorial text, the page structure, the calculations and the design of this site are ours, as is the mark drawn on our own pages. Quote a short extract with a link back if it is useful to you; wholesale reproduction is not permitted.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or from reliance on its content. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated, and the date under the heading at the top of the page shows when they last changed. Questions about any of it: [email protected].
