What it is
A borosilicate glass jug with a flat-sided body, sold in a smaller and a larger capacity, with the larger one also available in black and gold. The square section is not styling: a round jug wastes the depth of a fridge door shelf and a flat side does not, which is the whole argument for the shape.
The part that separates this from any other glass jug is the lid. It is 304 stainless steel with two pouring openings — a strainer section that holds back tea leaves, seeds and fruit pulp, and a wide section that pours fast or lets chunks through — and it rotates to switch between them. That removes the usual compromise where a strainer lid makes serving sangria impossible. The glass is stated as borosilicate rated well below freezing and above boiling, dishwasher safe, with a mouth wide enough to get a hand inside to clean the bottom.
