What it is
A mason-jar-shaped glass dispenser holding two gallons, closed by a stainless lid and tapped by an 18/8 stainless spigot. It is sold two ways and the glass is the same in both: on its own, or with a metal stand that raises the tap by about four inches. A blackboard label comes with either one.
The decision here is the stand, and it is a question about the table rather than the dispenser. Standing directly on a surface the jar is a foot tall and the spigot sits low, so a glass has to be tipped under it or the whole thing moved to a counter edge; on the stand the total height passes sixteen inches and a tumbler goes under the tap upright. Against that, the stand adds a pound and a footprint, and on a low buffet table the taller version starts to look top-heavy. The spigot is steel rather than coated plastic and arrives separate: it screws into the body, and a seal that is not tightened properly is the one thing that will leave a puddle. Two gallons of liquid is over sixteen pounds before the glass, so this is filled where it will stand, not carried full.
In use
Fits: parties, buffets, a long table of iced tea or lemonade, and — the maker's own suggestion — decanted laundry detergent. Does not fit: a fridge, a small kitchen with nowhere to store a large glass jar between uses, or anyone who needs to move it once it is full.

What 181 ratings can and cannot tell you
A middling average on a small sample, which is what a heavy glass vessel with a user-assembled tap tends to collect: breakage in transit and a leaking spigot both land as one star, and neither is visible in a photograph. The number cannot separate those two from the design, so read it as a warning to unpack carefully and to tighten the seal before the first fill rather than as a verdict on the glass.
The average is the retailer’s own figure across every option in this family, not a score of ours, and no review is quoted or paraphrased anywhere on this site.
Questions about this one
Is the stand worth it?
It raises the tap by roughly four inches, which is the difference between tipping a glass under the spigot and standing it there. On a counter you may not need it; on a dining table you probably will.
Does the spigot come fitted?
No. It ships separate and is screwed in by hand following the instructions. Fit it dry, then fill.
Can it hold hot drinks?
The maker does not rate it for hot liquid — their case for the glass is about cold and iced drinks. Their full description is printed below.
